Role summary
This full-time role is for a registered Mental Health Nurse to join the CAMHS Outreach Team, providing specialist community-based support to children and young people with complex mental health difficulties. - Mental Health Nurse qualification with a valid registration

- Professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma. Additional post qualifying training in a relevant field (DBT, CBT or any other psychological therapies) Teaching/mentoring qualification
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- To be able contribute to the audit process
- To be able to function as part of multi-disciplinary team and liaise with external agencies i.e. primary care, education, social and health care.
- To have ability to assess client need, both mental health, health and social needs
- Understanding of evidencebased practice and the ability to demonstrate how this influences clinical practice.
- Experience of mentoring and clinical supervision of others
