Role summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Sonographer to join our friendly team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. You will be responsible for scanning patients, producing independent reports, and actively participating in the training of student Sonographers and registrars. The role involves managing the ultrasound department, contributing to audit and clinical governance programs, and communicating scan results to patients and relatives. You will also support the development of others and ensure efficient workflow.
Essential criteria
- HCPC/NMC/RCT registration
- BSc in radiography/Midwifery
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- Experience scanning Abdominal, Obstetrics and gynaecology
- Awareness of all legislation relevant to the post.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work and inspire a team. Able to create a team ethos and demonstrate motivational skills. E
