Role summary
This role supports the delivery of high-quality clinical education and administrative processes within the CTM Clinical Learning Academy. The post holder will provide essential administrative and pastoral support to learners and colleagues across nursing and allied health professions. It involves supporting education programmes, managing varied workloads, and liaising with stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organised, motivated, and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work within the CTM Clinical Learning Academy to support students, Healthcare Support Workers and staff across nursing and allied health professions.
- Contribute to delivering safe, high-quality patient care through effective education support.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Education Department.
- Support the delivery of training programmes and a range of education activities for pre- and post-registration learners.
- Assist with the Healthcare Support Worker Framework and related education funding streams.
- Liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
- Previous experience in organising training events.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff including dealing with senior medical staff.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience of taking and transcribing minutes of meetings.
- Experience in producing high quality reports.
- Have an appreciation of budget and financial systems.
- Possess RSA/OCR Level III or possess the equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience.
- Excellent IT skills, and able to produce reports from databases.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Desirable criteria
- Developing high quality promotional documentation.
- Using Social Media/Apps etc. appropriately to support communication within the working environment.
- Experience of working in the NHS, or of working in an Educational/Training environment.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
- Knowledge of the Clinical Education agenda e.g. New Registrant Nurse Programme
- Welsh Language Speaking & Listening Skills (Level 3 and above/B2).
