Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled and passionate Radiographers to join the Imaging Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Luton site. The role involves rotation between Luton Hospital and the CDC site, offering a varied and dynamic working environment. You will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to high-quality imaging services and acting as a role model for other staff. Essential criteria

  • BSc In Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration

Desirable criteria

  • Post Graduate Cerificate/Diploma
  • Extensive experience of working in an acute hospital
  • Extensive experience in general radiographic practice
  • Extensive experience in specialised modality practice
  • Experience within the NHS
  • Experience of cardiac imaging
  • Professional knowledge across the spectrum of cross-sectional/ specialised procedures
  • Sound scientific and technical knowledge relevant to the post - including general and cardiac catheterisation
  • Awareness of all legislation and safety requirements relevant to the post
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal professional development
  • Knowledge of governance and audit procedures
  • Personal Skills
  • Skilled in performing cross-sectional/cardiac imaging
  • Ability to undertake range of both general radiography examinations
  • Participate in first line image interpretation.
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
