Essential criteria
- Current professional registration with the General Dental Council
- General Dental Council recognised qualification, e.g. NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing, or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, or Higher Education Certificate in Dental Nursing, or Foundation Degree in Dental Nursing
- Willing to work towards Conscious Sedation qualification
Desirable criteria
- NEBDN post- qualification in the following areas of practice:
- Special Care Dental Nursing, Conscious Sedation, Oral Health or
- Dental Radiography
- Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Keyboard skills and the ability to use Microsoft packages e.g. Word
- Demonstrable in- depth knowledge of infection prevention and control and decontamination procedures
- Effective organisational skills
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance and clinical audit processes
- Work flexibly in order to adapt to the demand of the post.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
- Exemplary personal standards of conduct and behaviour
- Knowledge of Dental IT software packages, e.g. SOEL,EXACT,R4, SystemOne
- Relationships

- Relevant experience as a dental nurse

Job summary
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and adaptable Band
4 Dental Nurse to join our Community Dental Network. This is a rewarding
opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred dental
care to children and adults, including people with complex medical conditions,
