Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the leadership team on Kingfisher Ward. You will provide clinical leadership and operational management, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting junior staff. The role involves coordinating patient care, managing admissions and discharges, and working with the multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be an experienced registered nurse committed to high clinical standards and professional development.

- A teaching qualification
- Evidence of post registration development
- Evidence of continuing professional development.

- Understanding of the structure for the delivery of community and social care services
- Leading a specialist endocrine care ward
- Significant post registration experience.
- Recent acute medical or surgical experience.
- Experience in leading, supporting and developing a team

You will support and develop junior staff, coordinate patient care, manage admissions and discharges, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
