This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Gastroenterology Administrative Department as a Medical Secretary. The role involves providing comprehensive secretarial, administration, and information services to Consultants and their medical teams. Essential criteria
- 5 GCSE's grade C or above
- Typing qualification RSA 3 or higher or equivalent experience
- Audio-typing qualification RSA 2
- ECDL.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ level 3 business administration or AMSPAR Diploma.
- EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Previous experience working as a secretary for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes.
- Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HISS) / ORMIS / MAXIMS
- Previous experience working within a hospital setting
- Previous experience of working within the NHS
- Understanding of specialist medical terminology and procedures.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and engage confidently with people at all levels.

We have an exciting opportunity that has come up in the Gastroenterology Administrative Department. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Gastro Secretary.
