Role summary
Join a specialist Learning Disability Inpatient Service in Bradford, supporting people across West Yorkshire and Barnsley. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, promote person-centred care, and contribute to service improvement. This role is for compassionate Registered Nurses with at least 2 years' post-registration experience looking to develop leadership skills. The successful candidate will be passionate about improving outcomes for people with learning disabilities and committed to safe, effective care.

- Clinical experience including experience of risk assessment, assessing patients and creating/implementing and evaluating care plans etc.
- Involvement with innovation in Nursing Practice.
- Management Experience of Ward/Department.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, and written) with the ability to persuade, motivate, facilitate discussions and mediate.
- Ability to use judgement to make decisions and resolve problems and issues
- Excellent ability to engage a diverse range of individuals who experience recurrent, complex and severe difficulties, and to develop effective therapeutic relationships with them
