Role summary
This role is for an experienced Nurse Prescriber or Independent Prescribing Pharmacist with ADHD titration experience to join Sinclair-Strong Consultants Ltd's FLOCUS Adult ADHD Service. You will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based ADHD medication management, including titration, monitoring, and treatment optimisation. The position offers flexible remote working and the opportunity to contribute to a growing specialist service.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake ADHD medication titration, review and stabilisation for adult patients.
- Prescribe ADHD medications within the scope of your professional registration and prescribing qualification.
- Monitor treatment response, side effects, physical health parameters and clinical risk factors.
- Support shared care arrangements with primary care providers where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and case reviews.
Essential criteria
- Independent Prescriber qualification - V300 or Pharmacist Independent Prescriber.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse or with the General Pharmaceutical Council GPhC as a Pharmacist.
- Demonstrable experience delivering ADHD medication titration, monitoring and review within adult ADHD services.
- Strong understanding of ADHD pharmacological treatments, medicines optimisation and prescribing governance.
- Experience assessing clinical risk, side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Knowledge of NICE guidance relating to ADHD assessment and treatment.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, clinical governance and patient safety principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently within a remote clinical environment.
- Competent IT skills and experience using electronic patient record systems.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working within NHS-commissioned ADHD services.
- Experience working within a CQC-regulated healthcare organisation.
- Experience delivering remote or digital ADHD treatment pathways.
- Experience contributing to clinical audit, service improvement or quality assurance initiatives.
- Experience supporting shared care arrangements with primary care.
- Experience supervising or mentoring healthcare professionals

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Specialist Prescriber to join our growing FLOCUS Adult ADHD Service .
This role is open to suitably qualified:
- Registered Nurses holding an Independent or Supplementary Prescriber qualification (V300); or
- GPhC-registered Independent Prescribing Pharmacists.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting adults through ADHD treatment pathways. Working under the clinical leadership of our Consultant Psychiatrists, you will provide safe, effective and evidence-based ADHD medication management, including titration, monitoring and treatment optimisation in line with NICE guidance and best practice standards.
