Key responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day supervision and management of the Radiology Imaging Assistant workforce.
- Manage and monitor staff rotas, annual leave, and workforce deployment.
- Monitor attendance and manage sickness absence in accordance with Trust policies.
- Support recruitment, induction, training, competency assessment, and ongoing development of Imaging Assistants.
- Undertake staff appraisals and support the management of performance, conduct, and wellbeing.
- Deputise for the Support Team Leader as required and escalate risks or operational concerns appropriately.
Essential criteria
- Previous experience in a Team Leader role is essential, with proven ability to supervise staff, manage performance and sickness, oversee rotas, and support safe, efficient service delivery.

Job summary

The post holder will deputise for the Support Team Leader when required, supporting recruitment, appraisal, performance management and quality improvement activities, while promoting a positive culture that reflects Trust values and delivers the highest standards of patient experience.
