Job summary

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a passionate,

forward thinking Nursing Associate to join our Nursing Team and work alongside

our multidisciplinary workforce at Riverside Surgery. We are a busy practice serving a diverse range of patients (11,700 approx) in the centre of High Wycombe.

We would welcome applicants who feel they can make a

difference with their expertise and positive outlook and would like to

contribute to Riverside Surgerys vision of providing excellent care.

Successful applicants will have excellent communication

skills and ensure high quality care is given as well as provide a high standard

of general nursing care to all patients, ensuring that they are treated with

dignity and respect while promoting a safe environment.

Main duties of the job

You will maintain a high professional standard of nursing care in adherence to all Practice policies, protocols and guidelines. It is essential that the Nursing Associate works within their own level of competency and expand their role in accordance with practice requires and own scope of practice.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Providing wound care and dressings
  • Perform and record clinical observations such as BP, temperature, respiration rate, pulse including appropriate coding
  • Provide a range of injections (B12, depo etc) and vaccinations (flu, covid, RSV etc), venepuncture an
