Role summary
This role supports the Finance Directorate by developing and continuously improving financial information systems, ensuring data integrity and availability. The analyst will be a primary contact for the current system provider and liaise with the Trust Digital department. Key responsibilities include leading report development, improving finance processes, and investigating problems. The position offers agile working with a mix of home and office-based work in Bolton.

- Advanced / Expert user of information systems such as Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of skills in SQL-Transact and SQL Server
- Can demonstrated ability to use various reporting tools (Qlickview/BO/PowerBI) including assessing the needs of the user and writing reports from scratch
- A sound understanding of business process and importance of quality data
- Demonstrate ability to think analytically
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadline and prioritise completion of demanding and unscheduled tasks
- Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
- Experience of managing and developing complex information systems
