Role summary
This is a fixed-term opportunity for a registered Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Princess of Wales Hospital, covering maternity leave for 12 months. The role involves working as an Accredited Checking Technician in the dispensary and participating in ward-based medicines management. The Medicines Management Directorate has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed registered Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team based at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Our Band 5 Technicians are valued members of the multidisciplinary team at ward level and work as ACTs in the automated, Technician led dispensary. You will gain experience across a variety of clinical specialities, working closely with pharmacists and other health care professionals to deliver a high quality, patient focussed medicines management service.
We Are Committed To The Development Of The Technician Role And Can Offer Excellent In House Training, where you will be supported and encouraged to further develop yourself.
Applicants must have a BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences Or Equivalent Qualifications to enable them to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
The successful candidate must also hold an Accredited Checking Technician qualification and be in a position
