Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Short Term Care Beds Service on a fixed-term basis or secondment.
The service provides short-term rehabilitation for individuals who no longer require acute hospital care but are not yet able to be safely supported at home
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated OT who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting adults to maximise their independence and achieve their recovery goals
You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with a range of physical, cognitive, & functional needs
You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while supporting patients through their recovery journey and preparing them for a safe discharge home or to an appropriate care setting
You will receive support from experienced senior therapists and benefit from regular supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to help you grow within your role
