Role summary
This role is for an experienced occupational therapist to join the award-winning Rough Sleepers Mental Health Team. The post holder will deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and mental health interventions, focusing on assessing occupational needs and identifying interventions for individuals referred to the service. They will also provide consultation and support to wider multidisciplinary teams and RESET partners. The role involves managing a complex caseload and providing clinical supervision.
Essential criteria
- Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent
- Post qualification courses in occupational therapy
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of further clinical study
- Evidence of study or training in areas including substance misuse or marginalised groups.
- Relevant experience to the role including knowledge and management of long term conditions
- Working in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Experience of working with adults with complex mental health and substance needs
- Experience with working with homeless indivduals or the services that support them

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to join the award-winning Rough Sleepers Mental Health Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and mental health interventions. The overall purpose of the post holder is to ensure that individuals who are referred into the service have their occupational needs assessed and interventions/recommendations are identified to meet these needs and that these are incorporated into an overall formulation of need and appropriate plan of care. The post holder will also be expected to be available for consultation, support and participation within wider MDTs to advise and support our RESET partners.
Main duties of the job
1. Delivering a high-quality clinical service to patients, their families and RESET partners.
2. The post holder will be responsible for providing the occupational therapy process within RESET service, helping to inform support services and the rough sleeper team.
3. Working in the Rough Sleeper mental health team and RESET service.
4. Managing a complex caseload including key working and responsible for clinical and caseload supervisio
