Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to work in a Nurse-led Haemodialysis Satellite Unit in Kettering. The successful candidate will provide personal and clinical care to patients receiving haemodialysis, monitor them during treatment, and ensure the unit is well-stocked and clean. Based at Kettering Dialysis Unit
We are looking for an enthusiastic well motivated Health Care Assistant to work in our Nurse led Haemodialysis Satellite Unit based in Kettering.
You must have experience working in the NHS and ideally hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent. Previous experience in renal / Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. The team that you will be joining is dedicated to training and promoting your continuous professional development.
The successful candidate will be flexible, demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to personal and professional development and a desire to provide a high standard of care delivery to chronically ill patients.
The unit is open 24 hours Mon/Wed/Fri and 07:00-19:00 Tue/Thu/Sat. We close on Sundays.
Shifts times are
Early 07:00-15:00 or 07:00-18:00
Mid 11:00-19:00
Late 12:00-23:00 or 15:00-23:00 (Mon/wed/fri only)
Night 21:00-08:00 (Mon/wed/fri only)
Staff ideally need to be flexible across all shifts.
