Role summary
This role is for a dynamic and motivated Staff Nurse to join a well-established Ophthalmology team. Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated nurse to become part of a well-established and progressive Ophthalmology team.We are a busy outpatient's department undertaking the assessment and care of Ophthalmic patients, by continually adapting the service to meet and enhance the care we provide to our patients. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic team players with a flexible approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to show initiative.
The eye treatment centre encompasses the Ophthalmic outpatient department, the Mobile Macular Unit (MMU) and the ETC ward both at Frimley Park Hospital and Heatherwood. The MMU moves weekly between Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot and Camberley and the ETC ward at Heatherwood. The post holder will rotate between all clinical areas within this very busy fast paced speciality working 3-5 shifts a week between 0700-2000 Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work required
This role is open to newly qualified nurses graduating in September 2026
