An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Forensic Rehab Ward of Royal Cornhill Hospital for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their clinical skills in this specialist environment. This post will be required for 11 months full time hours to cover maternity leave, and the successful candidate would be expected to follow a rotational shift pattern consisting of day and night shift.
The post holder will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services . The post holder will, provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a therapeutic environment and underpinned by risk assessment and management that will maximise the individual’s potential.
