Role summary
This role is for a compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant to work on Butterley ward at Ripley Hospital. The successful candidate will support Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering person-centred patient care. Duties include maintaining the ward environment, assisting with audits, and adhering to trust policies. Full training will be provided, making it suitable for those looking to develop nursing skills.
Essential criteria
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- NVQ in health-related care (or equivalent)
- Experience and Knowledge Required
- Previous experience of caring in an informal or formal setting.
- Skills and Attributes
- Ability to manage risk
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to travel across Derbyshire to attend essential training
- Full flexibility required to work shifts according to service needs
- Education, Qulifications and Training
