Role summary

An Administration Manager is sought to join the Specialist Perinatal Service. Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality management of the Specialist Perinatal Services, including administrative supervisors, medical secretaries, team secretaries, and ward clerks.
  • Work across the Perinatal footprint, supporting teams to ensure consistent administrative service delivery.
  • Assist in the development of staff teams to ensure quality of service and administrative function.
  • Assist the Administration & Performance Manager in developing, disseminating, and training on local policies and procedures.
  • Ensure achievement of national standards within the assigned area.
  • Provide a confidential, efficient, and service user-friendly approach to each service within the division.

Essential criteria

  • Must be educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge gained through relevant experience. oeg, Significant experience managing projects, teams, budgets, or services. Professional qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 6/7, CIPD, CMI, AAT, PRINCE2) Demonstrable specialist knowledge gained through training and practical application. Evidence of analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, and strategic decision-making skills normally expected of a graduate.
