  • Develop and maintain relevant and evidence-based therapeutic activities as appropriate to the patient's needs.
  • Work closely with a range of agencies including, social care, schools, other CAMHS teams, to meet the needs of children and young people to work collaboratively to develop/provide integrated services.

Essential criteria

  • Qualification either RMN/OT/Social Work
  • Experience of working within mental health settings including working with Children and Young People
  • Knowledge and experience of assessing mental illness and providing treatment

Desirable criteria

  • Higher education such as masters
  • Direct experience of working within CAMHS
  • Enhanced knowledge of specific treatments within CAMHS and experience in implementing these in practice

A full-time opportunity has arisen to join the community CAMHS team for South Oxfordshire. We are seeking a Senior Mental Heath Practitioner to join a multi-discipline team who support children and young people with moderate to severe mental illness.

This would be a great role for someone with excellent band 5 experience who is ready for their next step up to a band 6 role or someone already at a band 6 role wanting to broaden their experience.
