Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses to join the Renal Unit at Caithness General Hospital. You will be part of an integrated team providing assessment and treatment, primarily focusing on Haemodialysis for patients with Chronic Renal failure, post-transplant care, and low clearance patients. Previous experience in Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. The role offers regular appraisals, a personal development plan, and extensive training opportunities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nurses to work within the Renal Unit, in Caithness General Hospital.

We are looking for candidates who are proactive and enthusiastic to join our existing team in the Caithness General Renal Unit. As part of an integrated team, you will provide assessment and treatment of patients attending the unit. The unit currently provides Haemodialysis to patients with Chronic Renal failure, Post Renal transplant care and input with low clearance patients as part of the MDT.

Previous experience in Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided.

As a valued member of the team you will be supported by regular appraisals, a personal development plan, extensive training and development opportunities within NHS Highland.

This part-time post is offered as 34.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
