Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to a wide variety of Outpatient Therapy services.
- Perform front-of-house reception duties, handling a high volume of patients and telephone calls.
- Work with qualified Allied Health Professionals, Therapy Assistants, and Clinical Leads.
- Ensure a smooth patient journey from referral receipt to the last appointment.
- Book, cancel, and reschedule appointments to maximise utilisation.
Essential criteria
- NVQ3 or equivalent or relevant practical experience.
- Able to produce evidence of good basic education including numeracy and literacy skills

- Managing busy workload and conflicting priorities.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information in accordance with Data Protection Act
- Excellent verbal and written communication both face to face and via telephone

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated administrator to join Therapy Services in the post of Therapy Administrator for a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week.
Our department provides administrative assistance to a wide variety of Outpatient Therapy services including MSK Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy, Pelvic Health, Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy. The successful applicant will be trained and will provide cross cover across all services.
