Role summary
This role is for an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse to join the Elmbridge Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. The successful applicant will deliver comprehensive assessments and interventions to individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues, supporting their recovery journey. Duties include managing a caseload, conducting initial assessments, and supporting clients in crisis. The team is transitioning to an All-Age Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.
Key responsibilities
- Take lead and professional responsibility for a number of service users.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and a variety of approaches, interventions, and treatments to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues.
- Conduct initial assessments for clients referred to the service.
- Support individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential criteria
- NMC Registration as RN or RMN
- Successful completion of Mentorship course
- Further training or experience to post graduate diploma level OR extensive work experience
- post qualification - demonstrable experience
- Clinical supervision training

Job summary
Elmbridge Neighbourhood Mental health Team in the Complex Needs pathway is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse (NMC) to join our team. The team is moving through a transition to an All-Age Neighbourhood Mental Health Team to provide more joined up mental health care for our community.
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will deliver comprehensive assessments and a variety of approaches, interventions, and treatments to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues, supporting them in their personal recovery journey.
