Role summary
This role is for a Team Manager within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to lead Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in schools. - Knowledge of educational systems and structures
- Of working with CYP with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties
- Of working within an MDT
- Of working within school environments
- Demonstratable leadership and management skills, i.e budget, supervision, HR processes, recruitment, training

Job summary
The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) welcomes applications from Team Managers to join ourMental Health Support Teams (MHST)
The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST's) are also become part of the school community, engaged in the curriculum impacting on the whole school whilst reaching those with identified emotional wellbeing and mental health needs. The Team Manger will ensure that the service is delivered to the highest quality, meeting the needs of children, young people and families, and our colleagues in education.
MHST teams offer 3 core functions of service:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions for children & young people with mild-to-moderate mental health problems
- Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce or develop their whole school/college approach
- Giving timely advice to school & college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help children & young people to get the right support & stay in education
