Role summary

This role is for a dynamic and enthusiastic Staff Nurse in Specialist School Nursing, based at St. Michael's Community Hospital. The post holder will undertake clinical duties, facilitate training for parents and school staff, and support children and young people with medical or health needs in special schools. Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the role of Staff Nurse - Specialist School Nursing within a full time role, located at Cedar House, within our St. Michael's Community Hospital site within the Specialist School Nursing team. The weekly hours for this role will be agreed at interview.

The postholder will undertake clinical duties as required and be able to facilitate training and education for parents and school staff. They will be based in either 1 or 2 special schools and will provide support to CYP with medical or health needs. They will manage the health care support worker (HCSW) and support them with developing skills and assisitning the B5 in caseload management.
