Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sonographer at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust to join the Ultrasound Department at the University Hospital of North Tees. You will be

responsible for delivering a high standard of patient-centred care while

providing a comprehensive ultrasound service across a wide range of

examinations, including Obstetric, Gynaecological, Abdominal, DVT,

Musculoskeletal (MSK), Carotid, Head & Neck, and Small Parts imaging. You

will perform ultrasound examinations independently, producing accurate

diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making and patient management.

The role also involves communicating scan findings sensitively and professionally,

including delivering complex or distressing information when appropriate,

particularly in Obstetric cases. You will always prioritise patient safety and

wellbeing by adapting imaging techniques to meet individual clinical needs,
