Role summary

Key responsibilities

Essential criteria

  • Good academic standard - including maths and english
  • IT skills, including Excel/spreadsheet and Word
  • NHS experience
  • Ability to compile reports as required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a patient tracking database Ability to prioritise workload, and adjust own work in light of unexpected events (to changing priorities). To be able to use own initiative planning own work for the day/week and work unsupervised where appropriate.
  • A strong sense of personal and team accountability coupled to a clear understanding of the boundaries around delegated authority
  • Work as one team - communicate, collaborate and share Respect each other by being polite, pleasant and listening

  • Cancer specific IT package, i.e. Infoflex
  • Knowledge of Cancer Standards and National Guidance

Job summary

To be a key member of the Rapid Diagnostic Team (RDC).
