Role summary
This role supports the trust's transformation programme by assisting with project management and coordinating communication and deliverables. The post holder will manage projects from inception to completion, engaging with stakeholders and tracking progress. They will work autonomously, prioritising tasks to ensure timely project completion. The role involves collaborating with internal and external parties to gather requirements and provide updates.
Essential criteria
- Degree level qualification or relevant experience
Desirable criteria
- Formal Programme and/or Project management training (eg. PRINCE2 or similar)
- Experience of working in partnership with operational and clinical leaders
- Experience of delivering improvement and efficiency plans
- Experience of working on complex projects through to delivery
- Experience of collaborative working across the healthcare system
- Experience in health care improvement working at or above Band 5
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the current health system within South West London and Surrey, the aims and aspirations of the organisation and current relevant national health policy
- A good understanding of the requirements of continuous quality and cost improvement within provider settings
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable dealing with financial information, including a working knowledge of NHS financial processes.
- Experience of supporting complex projects
- Skilled communicator and negotiator; provide and receive highly complex, sensitive and contentious information
- Experience in the application of Service Improvement methodologies
- Equality and Diversity - knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues and how personally can make a positive difference to this agenda

Job summary
Working with the Group wide Transformation Team, this is a key role in the development and deliveryof the trust's transformation programme.
The post holder will support a number of projects across the trust, providing support for project management and coordinating communication and project deliverables across their allocatedprogramme of work.
They will provide support to the programme of work successfully engaging with key stakeholders,supporting programme leads, tracking plans for project delivery, and supporting implementation.
This will include managing projects from inception to completion and supporting the programmeleads in developing medium to long term strategies that impact across the Trust and the wider sector.
Success in the role will rely on collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns effectively.
The post-holder will be expected to work autonomously ensuring appropriate prioritisation of workload to ensure completion of projects within agreed timescales.
