Role summary
This role is for an experienced and passionate Antenatal Clinic Team Leader to shape and influence antenatal services within the maternity team. You will provide clinical and operational leadership, ensuring safe, personalised, and evidence-based care throughout pregnancy. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care pathways, and driving service improvements. You will also participate in the Manager on Call rota.
Essential criteria
- NMC Registered Midwife
- Significant Clinical experience B6 or above
- Proven skills in advanced knowledge of clinical practice
- Recent delivery suite experience in an obstetric unit
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship/Equivalent
- Ultrasound Scanning course/qualification
- HDU/NLS course or equivalent
- Management/Leadership qualification or equivalent experience
- Change management experience
- Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues
