Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated registered mental health professional to join the Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) Service as an Operational Manager. The service provides specialist mental health assessment, treatment, and care coordination for individuals serving community sentences, working at the interface between health and criminal justice. The Operational Manager will provide day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring safe, effective, responsive, and person-centred care. The role combines operational management with professional and clinical leadership, supporting the multidisciplinary team and promoting evidence-based practice. The post holder will also develop partnerships with various agencies to improve continuity of care and support positive outcomes.
Essential criteria
- Registered Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social Worker with professional registration with NMC, HCPC or Social Work England
- Experience of working with service users in crisis

- Experience of working within community mental health, forensic, offender health or criminal justice services
