Role summary
This is an exciting part-time opportunity for a motivated Medical Secretary to join the Colposcopy team at St James's Hospital. The role involves providing comprehensive secretarial support, including typing correspondence, managing appointments, and handling telephone enquiries. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Previous secretarial experience and RSA II in audio typing are essential.

The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and will work closely with, medical, nursing and other administrative staff in and around the gynaecology team.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, the ability to understand and use IT systems, e.g. Microsoft Excel, and the ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks. NHS IT systems/experience is preferable however full training will be provided.
