Role summary
This role is for an experienced Older Adult Occupational Therapist to lead and contribute to the delivery of effective Occupational Therapy and therapeutic activities within three Older Adult Wards in Warwick and Nuneaton. The post holder will manage a clinical caseload, assess complex occupational needs, and formulate care plans. They will also provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, and contribute to service evaluation and quality improvement. - Experience of supervising registered and/or non-registered staff (including students)

- Experience with a range of standardised assessments
- BSc Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Training in working with people who are living with severe mental illness, Trauma or Autism.
- Leadership training.
- Post graduate learning to Masters level
- Current Registration with Health and Care Professions Council without restriction.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Older Adult Occupational Therapist to join our Older Adult Inpatient Mental Health Service and Team. We are a small older adult team comprising of two other Occupational Therapists, an OTA and three Activity Co-ordinators.
The role is to lead and contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient Occupational Therapy and therapeutic activities within our three Older Adult Wards located in Warwick and Nuneaton.
The post would suit someone with mental and physical health Occupational Therapy experience and competence, in acute and community settings.
Significant supervisory experience and a desire to develop others as well as the service is required.
Effective communication and organisational skills are key. Quality improvement experience is desirable.
The post holder will work clinically and in a clinical leadership capacity, in collaboration with the wider MDT team, and will be well supported by the AHP Service Lead and fellow AHP clinical specialists across our adult and older adult services.
