Role summary
This role is for a motivated and experienced Assistant Delivery Manager within Obstetrics & Gynaecology, initially on a 6-month secondment. You will work closely with Service Delivery and Service Managers to ensure efficient service delivery. The position involves leading administrative functions and providing operational support for day-to-day management. You will also deputise for the Service Manager/Service Delivery Manager as needed.

- Experience of working with and dealing with the general public.
- Experience of team working and building & maintaining effective working relationships in a multi-disciplinary environment
Desirable criteria
- Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of managing NHS waiting lists and tracking of patient tracking lists in the NHS
- Experience of booking patient appointments in the NHS
- Experience of managing a budget

We are looking for a motivated and experienced manager who can bring enthusiasm and energy to the assistant service manager role within Obstetrics & Gynaecology on a 6 month secondment.
The Assistant Service Manager will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Service Manager to provide a highly effective and efficient service delivery.
You will have an operational lead role for all administrative functions with additional responsibilities, working under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager
Main duties of the job
