The role of a Staff Nurse in the Fracture clinic will see you providing a high standard of care to patients which consists of working in the treatment rooms and plaster room as well as working in clinic to maintain an efficient patient flow in the department.

Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse Fracture Clinic you will be providing care/treatment to both fracture clinic and elective orthopaedic patients. You will be expected to chaperone the doctors during consultations and provide assistance to the patient if needed, this could be by providing personal care as and when required or assisting with questions. You will also be required to fit a variety of splints and braces and remove / apply plaster casts when you have been trained and deemed competent to do so.
