Role summary

Join the Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team as a Medical Secretary, providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support. This role involves diary management, audio typing, appointment coordination, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality care for individuals with eating disorders. The position requires an enthusiastic, proactive, and highly organised individual who can manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Join our friendly and dedicated Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (ED-ITT) as a Medical Secretary and play a vital role in supporting a specialist service that is currently expanding through a number of exciting new developments and recruitment opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, GP with Specialist Interest, and a multidisciplinary team including administrators, mental health nurses, healthcare support workers, psychologists, dietitians and occupational therapists, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality care for people experiencing eating disorders.

As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including diary management, audio typing, appointment coordination, meeting organisation and maintaining accurate patient records.
