Role summary

This role involves leading clinical administration and clerical support functions across identified services within a Care Group. The post holder will be responsible for administrative and data quality, supporting service KPIs, and ensuring excellent customer service. They will also operationally manage clinical administration staff within the Care Group, working to streamline processes and maximise IT system functionality for efficient service delivery.

Essential criteria

  • 5 GCSE's including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent standard of education with the emphasis on numeracy and literacy.
  • NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • RSA/OCR Level 3 Typing/Word processing or equivalent.

  • Project management qualifications e.g. Prince 2.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office and pressurised environment and managing a diverse workload
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of managing teams.
  • 2 years administrative experience within the NHS or other complex organisation.
  • To be able to demonstrate working on own initiative and as a member of a team.
  • Experience of liaising with staff across different disciplines and organisational boundaries
  • Experience of working across multi agency groups.
  • Dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience of supporting/managing projects.
  • Working within financial constraints, policies and procedures.
  • Experience of performance management
  • Moving and handling object key trainer or prepared to undertake study.
  • Thorough understanding of confidentiality and security of information.
  • To be able to demonstrate effective problem solving abilities.
