Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and conscientious Qualified Dental Nurse to join the Coventry & Warwickshire Community Dental Service. The post holder will assist clinicians in providing special care and paediatric dentistry, including sedation and general anaesthetic sessions, across various sites. Responsibilities include clinical assistance, surgery preparation, instrument sterilisation, and administrative duties. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover.
Essential criteria
- Level 3 Diploma or National Certificate for Dental Nurses
- GDC registered
- Experience of working within the NHS as a qualified Dental Nurse
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Desirable criteria
- Additional post qualification - Conscious Sedation
- Additional post qualification - Special Care Dental Nursing
- Experience of working with children and patients with addition needs.
- Reliable and Flexible
- Other
- Car driver / Owner willing to travel and work across all Coventry & Warwickshire Dental sites.
