Role summary

Barnet CAMHS SCAN Team - Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner ( Full time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join the Barnet CAMHS SCAN Team at North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT).

The SCAN Team provides specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Learning Disabilities and behaviours that challenge.

The successful candidate will undertake specialist behavioural assessments and deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions that improve wellbeing, reduce behaviours of concern and enhance quality of life. This includes developing person-centred formulations and support plans tailored to the needs of children, young people and their families.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will collaborate with families, schools, social care, healthcare professionals and partner agencies to provide coordinated, holistic support. They will offer consultation, training and guidance while promoting Positive Behaviour Support principles and best practice across the service.
