Job summary
ASPH Imaging department has all new state of the art digital imaging equipment with an effective equipment replacement programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is competent in all general x-ray with a passion for expanding their skills. We actively encourage CPD and have a full 7 day shifts system with currently a shift allowance.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected
- To perform and maintain high standards of radiographic imaging as determined by the work rota
- To**** participate in the shift system and weekend duties. Will be expected to participate in the interventional on call rota when suitably trained.
- To be involved with service delivery and service improvement for the benefit of the patient
- To maintain high clinical standards, particularly regarding patient care, clinical risk and Health and Safety
- To liaise with other Health Care Professionals and departmental staff on a daily basis
- To continue to develop ones own knowledge, practice and development through continued professional development
- To understand the implications of the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure a safe working environment for patients, staff, visitors and staff acc
