Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and resourceful Senior Rotational Pharmacist at Whittington Health, an Integrated Care Organisation. The post holder will join a dynamic team, gaining experience across various rotations and developing clinical, managerial, and leadership skills. Essential criteria
- MPharm (or equivalent)
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate Diploma / MSc in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Royal Pharmaceutical Society Faculty membership
- Skills & Abilities
- Accurate dispensing, checking, and prescription monitoring skills, and ability to follow written procedures
- Good written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate with patients and all grades of healthcare staff (verbally and in writing)
- Competent in the use of computers and familiar with hospital pharmacy computer systems.
- Confident & assertive when dealing with other professionals
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Ability to effectively monitor therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and safety.
