This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Midwife to join a leading tertiary maternity unit at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. Essential criteria
- Registered midwife on relevant part of the NMC Register
- Diploma or degree in midwifery
- Completion of preceptorship
- Competent clinical skills and knowledge across all areas of midwifery practice

- Understanding of current midwifery issues
- Knowledge of current Government NHS Agenda relevant to Maternity Services
- Suturing competency
- Cannulation competency
