Job summary

The Capital and Connectivity Support Officer provides administrative and coordination support across the DDaT capital programme and medical device connectivity projects. The postholder will support digital and medical device capital schemes through maintaining accurate documentation and trackers, raising purchase orders, monitoring progress, and coordinating with clinical teams, DDaT colleagues, Clinical Engineering, suppliers and other stakeholders.

The postholder will also support medical device connectivity projects by maintaining project records, coordinating meetings and communications, following up agreed actions and dependencies, and escalating delays, unresolved issues or technical matters to the Medical Device Capital and Connectivity Manager or relevant technical lead.

The postholder will support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including document control, version tracking and timely review, and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the department's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards. The role will also support routine departmental KPI and DDaT capital programme reporting using agreed information and templates.
