Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Band 6 Nurse to join the Community Children's Nursing Team in Ealing. The role involves providing compassionate, family-centered nursing care to children with acute, complex, long-term, and life-limiting health conditions in various community settings. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, act as a specialist resource, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the team. This full-time position requires an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Children's nurse with a solid foundation in evidence-based practices.
Essential criteria
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN or RN Child Branch) NMC Registration
- Education to degree level
- Evidence of post registration education and training, including paediatric training
Desirable criteria
- Community Nursing/Specialist Practitioner Qualification
- Evidence of post registration experience
- Recent acute general children's nursing experience
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams Experience in child protection procedures
- Experience of facilitating professional development of other staff
- Community experience - Experience of working in culturally diverse communities,
- Experience working with students
- Experience teaching
- Knowledge of Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct
- Knowledge and experience of Personal Development Planning
- Knowledge and demonstration of the use of evidence-based Care
- Knowledge and experience of Clinical Supervision

We have an exciting job opportunity a dedicated Band 6 Nurse to join our friendly and progressive Community Children's Nursing Team in Ealing.
We are looking for a full time (37.5 hours per week) post.
Our team is well-established and committed to providing compassionate, family-centered nursing care to children who are facing acute, complex, and long-term health conditions. We currently provide a 5-day service to children and their families living in Ealing Borough, supporting palliative and end-of-life care. Join us and become an integral part of our team.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals who is either a Band 5 or already in a Band 6 role. Whilst experience working in the community is preferred, it is not essential. We are interested in your skill set and what you can bring to our team.
Ultimately, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Children's nurse. You will be a highly motivated independent practitioner, underpinned by a solid foundation in evidence-based nursing practices.
