Role summary

This is an opportunity for a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join a busy and existing paediatric diabetes team at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. The role involves caring for children and young people with various forms of diabetes, including complex and rare cases. The team provides comprehensive care, including an established insulin pump service, and offers a full training and induction package for the successful candidate.   • Experience in the care and management of children and young people with complex and rare diabete
  • Evidence of delivering teaching programmes to staff groups
  • Evidence of presentations at local, regional, national level.

Working within an existing and busy paediatric diabetes team this is an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a band 6 specialist nurse role and diabetes management .
