Role summary
This role is for a Band 3 Administrator within the Patient Flow and Referral Hub team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. The team supports the safe and timely movement of patients through hospital and community services. The post holder will manage and process referrals from the acute Trust into community services. It is a part-time position for 20 hours per week.
Essential criteria
- 3 GCSEs including English Language & Mathematics (Grades A-C), equivalent, qualification in Health or Social Care
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Relevant experience at Band 2 or above
- Experience in using SystmOne
- Evidence of good communications skills
- Knowledge of care and related procedures
- Experience of multi-professional working
- Basic IT skills
- Good Organisation skills
- Exemplar written communication skills.

Job summary
An Opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Flow and Referral Hub team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 3 Administrators .
The team plays an important role in supporting the safe and timely movement of patients through hospital and community services. As part of the developing Referral Hub, the post holder will also support the management and processing of referrals from the acute Trust into community services.
Part time position: 20 hours
Main duties of the job
Under the guidance and supervision of the senior members of the flow team the post holder will provide call handling, referral processing and administrative support across the Patient Flow and Referral Hub functions.
The post holder will also support the wider Patient Flow team with administrative duties associated with safe and timely discharge, patient flow and communication between acute and community services.
