Role summary
This role is for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join the SACT Outreach team, delivering chemotherapy treatment at various locations across Manchester and at the Oak Road Treatment centre. The successful candidate will provide high-standard nursing care, support medical and clerical staff, and participate in various clinical procedures. It involves rotational cover between the Chemotherapy unit and Outreach services, including mobile units and outpatient clinics. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level II in care or equivalent experience

- Care Certificate
- Previous experience as a healthcare assistant.
- Good communication skills.
- Competent in venepuncture
- Competent in the accessing of central venous access devices(CVAD).
- Knowledge of observations required as routine
- Participate in personal development
- Competent in routine observations and tests

- Car owner/clean driving licence
