Role summary
This is a development role for Staff Nurses interested in public health nursing, specifically within the 0-19 Service in Barnet. Essential criteria
- The post holder is a qualified registered nurse ideally with experience in working in paediatrics in an acute/community setting

- High levels of clinical skills, with the ability to identify, respond to and evaluate health needs.
- Ability to apply research to practice.
- Ability to set personal objectives, and manage time, priorities and stressful situations
- Ability to delegate work appropriately and safely.

- Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of current legislation and national guidance
- Understanding of the safeguarding process and child protection procedures, clinical governance arrangements and the ability to make decisions in these areas

- Commitment to the development of excellent services, which focus on improved outcomes for children
- Awareness of Equal Opportunities and Valuing Diversity
