Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust operates across three hospital sites in Frimley, Ascot and Slough, offering wide-ranging clinical exposure and development opportunities.
Wexham Park Critical Care Unit is a 16-bedded mixed ITU/HDU (Level 3 and Level 2) unit, delivering care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. This includes post-operative and emergency care, as well as post-primary coronary intervention patients. The unit also provides advanced therapies such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support and haemofiltration, ensuring a varied and challenging clinical environment.
We place a strong emphasis on education and professional development. Our comprehensive education programmes--supported by a dedicated Practice Education Team--equip staff at all levels with the essential knowledge and skills needed to thrive in critical care.
