Essential criteria

  • Recent experience in general radiography, including emergency and dental imaging.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible, adaptable, patient-focused, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Full driving licence.

Job summary

We are seeking a motivated Diagnostic Radiographer to join our friendly multidisciplinary Radiology team, providing high-quality patient care across the New Forest and surrounding areas. Applications are welcomed from both final-year student radiographers and HCPC-registered radiographers looking to develop their skills and career.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of plain radiographic techniques, NHS experience as a student or qualified radiographer, and a proactive, compassionate approach to patient care. Based primarily at Lymington New Forest Hospital, the role will also include working at community sites in Romsey and Hythe following induction.

Participation in out-of-hours and extended-day services is required. Our fully digital department offers a wide range of imaging services including X-ray, fluoroscopy, theatre imaging, DXA, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, supported by modern Siemens and Canon equipment.
